The Code of Hammurabi (Codex Hammurabi, originated 1760 BC in Ancient Babylon) is an ancient law code which predates the Law of Moses (the Mosaic Law). It’s important to understand the significance of various ancient laws, the derivatives formed and their influence on different religions. It brings into question the originality and divinity of monotheistic laws.

There are many similarities between the Code of Hammurabi and Mosaic Law (Torah or Old Testament).

There is some scientific evidence suggesting Dean is right. He then showed them gay porn – and some 80 percent became aroused. He concluded that since “most homophobes demonstrate significant sexual arousal to homosexual erotic stimuli”, anti-gay hatred is probably “a form of latent homosexuality.”

I don’t care what anyone says about Obama’s recent “mishaps” regarding LGBT Americans or his personal views regarding gay marriage (there’s more pressing issues for Gay Americans). So there’s no openly LGBT person in his cabinet? Not a big deal. A cabinet should be filled with whomever he feels is the most qualified. As far as I’m concerned, Barack Obama is an advocate for LGBT Americans. He’s still a politician and he can only move so far to the left, without dividing the nation on issues that are still very divisive in some regions.

That relaxation of the rules enabled commercial lenders, like Citigroup, to trade instruments such as mortgage-backed securities and collateralised debt obligations.

Many see the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act as a major, direct cause of the current financial crisis.
But it was signed by a Democratic President, Bill Clinton, and supported by many other Democratic politicians, among them the scourge of Bush deregulation Nancy Pelosi.
